We find that there are some very common questions when considering purchasing a holiday home with us. These are some of the things that we are often asked about ownership at Stratford Parks;
Q: You are open for 10 months of the year, are we able to stay in the home continuously for those months?
A: Our holiday homes are for holiday use only, you can come and go as often as you like over those months but they can’t be your main residence. You cannot live in your holiday home. We will check prior to purchase, and regularly thereafter, that you have a legitimate permanent home address.
Q: Are we restricted to when we can arrive on park to use our holiday home; do we need to report in on arrival?
A: As an owner you can come and go as you please, you have your own keys and personal gate entry so you can come and go as you wish.
Q: Can we invite family and friends to our holiday home at Stratford Parks?
A: Of course, a holiday home is the perfect way to bring the family together. Stratford Parks has something for everyone and we would love you to invite friends and family to spend time with us.
Q: Are there options for the number of bedrooms in the holiday homes at Stratford Parks?
A: Yes, there are options for two and three bedrooms. We do find that two bedrooms are more popular, these are generally still 6 berth with a pull out bed. Some of the lodges have other options especially if you are buying off plan.
Q: What costs do I need to consider when purchasing a holiday home?
A: There are various costs you should consider like site fees, utility costs and insurance. We can provide full details of these, some will vary between different areas and type of home.
Q: Are dogs welcome on the park?
Yes absolutely! We welcome dogs on our parks and there are plenty of beautiful places to explore locally for countryside walks, we even provide a secure dog walking field on site.
